Our stay at the lodge was truly enjoyable. The room exceeded our expectations and provided great value for our money. The location was convenient, being close to town and offering a magical light walk. The staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel welcome.
Regarding breakfast offerings, it would have been nice to have more variety throughout our three-day stay. The lack of change in the menu and the absence of the delicious potatoes without peppers were a bit disappointing.

We appreciated cambria pines lodge. French Corner Bakery was 10 mins walk away. The hotel was set just a walk down to The Vault Gallery. No complains at all with the venue.

We really liked the location of the Lodge, close to downtown, beaches, castle and rides into the countryside. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning.
Our room was located along side the service road with trash truck, deliveries, and the tour buses noisely driving by in the early morning, and at arrival times for the tour buses. We would come back, but we would request a room off the main interior roads.

Lovely Hilltop Location and Delicious Food
We stayed at this charming lodge nestled among the Monterey Pines on a hilltop. The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely fantastic, and we highly recommend it. The breakfast was decent. Yes, the facility is a bit dated, but that's part of its charm. It has a unique atmosphere that adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place for you. We definitely enjoyed our time here and would happily return. we recommend this lodge for its great value and truly delicious food.

Love the garden and the hot breakfast.
1) There was a rotted apple behind the sofa; 2) The floor and the tv armore cracked everytime we walk around in the separate living room.

Good for big family or old people
Much too expensive. Mw did not work. Forniture breaking down. Getting breakfast like in a military camp. Countryside very nice but better to stay somewhere else

Our stay at the lodge was worth every penny! The room was beautifully decorated and top-notch in every way. The location was amazing and we enjoyed strolling around the peaceful gardens. The staff treated us like royalty, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay.
The menu for breakfast could use some improvement.

difficult to find it even with GPS. It looks warm but the staff is just so so, except the staff of resteraunt. She seemed to forget our table reservation but finally helped us to get some food for us, although the resteraunt was closed.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The parking was convenient, and the location was perfect for visiting Hearst Castle, which is only 15 minutes away. We enjoyed dining in the cozy dining rooms overlooking the beautiful and inviting garden. The landscape crew working on the upcoming holiday light display added to the overall ambiance. The night time entertainment and bar were great, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options in a pleasant setting. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Nothing, all aspects of our stay were excellent.

The lodge was well designed for a family to enjoy different things. The pool was warm enough to enjoy the weather outside. The exquisite plants were a treat. I will definately stay at this lodge the next time I am in the area. Thank you.....
My room didn't have a refridgerator or microwave.

Spacious suite with recently updated decor and amenities.
Extremely noisy, with paper-thin walls and floors. It felt like people in neighboring rooms were right in our room.

Suites were private and quiet; breakfast was bountiful but ordinary; grounds and gardens are very pretty
Have to drive into town; having heard much about Cambria I felt letdown, especially after spending the day before in Carmel by the Sea; Cambria is definitely not worth a visit on its own, unless you plan to visit Hearst Castle which is exquisitely beautiful. The room turned out to be a kind of suite which explains the high price; we could have done with a much smaller footprint and enjoyed the stay just as much, so I rated the value as somewhere between poor and fair for two. For six people though, the value would have been much better if you don't need complete privacy: nice for a family of 4 to 6.

Good food selection - I liked the opportunity to split meals. Most dinners are too large.
Some of the furnishings are showing wear and age.
