    Very good

We really liked the location of the Lodge, close to downtown, beaches, castle and rides into the countryside. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning.

Our room was located along side the service road with trash truck, deliveries, and the tour buses noisely driving by in the early morning, and at arrival times for the tour buses. We would come back, but we would request a room off the main interior roads.

Good for big family or old people

Much too expensive. Mw did not work. Forniture breaking down. Getting breakfast like in a military camp. Countryside very nice but better to stay somewhere else

    Very good

Love the garden and the hot breakfast.

    1) There was a rotted apple behind the sofa; 2) The floor and the tv armore cracked everytime we walk around in the separate living room.

    Very good

difficult to find it even with GPS. It looks warm but the staff is just so so, except the staff of resteraunt. She seemed to forget our table reservation but finally helped us to get some food for us, although the resteraunt was closed.

    Exceptional

The lodge was well designed for a family to enjoy different things. The pool was warm enough to enjoy the weather outside. The exquisite plants were a treat. I will definately stay at this lodge the next time I am in the area. Thank you.....

My room didn't have a refridgerator or microwave.

    Superb

Good food selection - I liked the opportunity to split meals. Most dinners are too large.

Some of the furnishings are showing wear and age.

    Very good

Suites were private and quiet; breakfast was bountiful but ordinary; grounds and gardens are very pretty

Have to drive into town; having heard much about Cambria I felt letdown, especially after spending the day before in Carmel by the Sea; Cambria is definitely not worth a visit on its own, unless you plan to visit Hearst Castle which is exquisitely beautiful. The room turned out to be a kind of suite which explains the high price; we could have done with a much smaller footprint and enjoyed the stay just as much, so I rated the value as somewhere between poor and fair for two. For six people though, the value would have been much better if you don't need complete privacy: nice for a family of 4 to 6.

The cleanliness of the rooms and grounds; breakfast was excellent-food was fresh and tasty; strolling the gardens- beautiful and delightful

    Very good

Good location, with good sized rooms. We had a problem come up during our stay and the staff were very prompt to respond to sort it out

We were not informed up front that if we wanted to dine in the restaurant, we had to pre-book, so this meant having to get back in our car and drive into town to get dinner when we had expected to be able to dine there.

    Fabulous

It has lovely grounds and nestled rooms. The gardens were nice to walk in. It is convenient to town and walks near the ocean. Breakfast was great.

Our living room (328) only had one very dim light, so I couldn't sit comfortably and read. There were no matches with which to light the fire log. The bedroom door is slightly off kilter, so that it doesn't close without a huge racket.

    Exceptional

The big spacious accomodations, very cozy and nice and quite. The breakfasts were very good and tasty, good coffeee and we ate outside under the gazebo next to the fireplace. Nice gardens and easyparking close to my room. We never heard our neighbors and the ice machine was very close, we asked for towels and the response was fast= I recommend Cambria Pines Lodge for a complete getaway Lodge for married couples and sweethearts!

The Spa was set backwards but access was not a problem

    Very good

I liked that the staff was accommodating and we were granted an early check-in, which made it quite convenient for the event we needed to attend during the middle of the day. We also enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the breakfast buffet in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
